Integrated 2-Point Sway Control™

Integrated 2-Point Sway Control™ means that your hitch is designed to help reduce sway without the addition of a secondary sway control device. It means there is a measure of sway control built right into the hitch itself.

Integrated sway control makes using the E2™ hitch so much more simple to use than other hitches. It means less hassle for you when hitching up and unhitching. It means you don’t have to worry about backing or turning restrictions like you would with an add-on sway bar. It means there are no weather restrictions either...no need to get out in the rain or snow to remove your sway control.

With the E2™ hitch, when you tension the bars the sway control is automatically engaged. There is no need to buy or install additional hardware on the trailer or hitch head, and no extra bars to store, hook up, or remove.

Where does the sway control come from? It comes from the steel-on-steel friction at the joint where the spring arm rests on the L-bracket. The rigid bracket design keeps the spring arms from swaying side to side. And the force required to distribute the tongue weight of the trailer generates an incredible amount of friction between the spring arms and sway brackets. Friction the trailer must overcome to be able to sway. Best of all, the sway control happens automatically! You don’t have to do a thing but enjoy the ride.
